KP Dodd Construction a family run business based in Royton Oldham.

We have been based in Oldham since 1999 and were previously based just up the road in Middleton since 1982. Mr. Bradshaw a plumber by trade, worked for the previous owner for over 20 years, he became a partner in 1996 and took over the company in 2006. The company has continued under the same name “KP Dodd Construction” although a new logo has been devised. The staff all wear the new company uniform and the company vans are adorned with the new logo.

KP Dodd undertake all aspects of building work and have a highly skilled workforce who undertake domestic and commercial projects including extensions, conversions, refurbishment, renovations, roofing, structural works and groundworks.

We currently employ a variety of tradesmen, management and office staff. We also have access to our selected sub-contractors who are trained to the same high standard that is expected from the company.

All our staff are qualified tradesmen and have completed all mandatory courses required by the construction industry. As well as trade and mandatory qualifications such as Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height and Manual Handling our staff hold non trade specific qualifications including Emergency First Aid at Work, PASMA, IPAF, IOSH Working Safely, SMSTS, Sage Accounting and Equality and Diversity.

We at KP Dodd are particularly proud to be an approved contractor for various local authorities and housing associations who provide disabled adaptations to households and schemes throughout the region. This service may include the installation of level access showers, bathrooms, ramps and extensions, all of which meet the client’s individual needs and specific requirements.

Accreditation onto these approved lists is only attained after vigorous assessment and yearly reviews which enable the company to show they have continued to maintain the exceptionally high standards expected. The areas reviewed include staff competence, health and safety, risk management, craftsmanship, management duties, staff and customer communication and customer satisfaction. Regular monitoring by our office staff ensure our feedback from clients is kept up to date and any issues are dealt with in a professional and timely manner. Our customer satisfaction rate is important to us and any feedback is always welcome.
